Regional GOTV HUB Manager – East

The Regional GOTV HUB Manager will work in conjunction with the Organizing Team to manage (4) GOTV HUBs located in Bertie, Dare, Wake and Durham counties.  This position is created to successfully fulfill the goals of the GOTV Plan, which includes, but not limited to, ensuring that each site is successfully achieving goals, adequately staffed, and efficiently trained. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison for (4) designated GOTV HUBs located in Bertie, Dare, Wake and Durham
  • Responsible for the administration of volunteers
  • Responsible for scheduling/timesheet reporting of volunteers
  • Work in collaboration with the GOTV HUB Coordinators for inventory management
  • Work closely with the Organizing Team to ensure the project stays on schedule
  • Scheduling any additional GOTV trainings 
  • Frequently visit HUB sites weekly
  • Monitor Canvassing efforts 
  • Host Virtual Volunteer Friday Celebrations 
  • Successfully provide GOTV HUB Coordinators with accurate and up-to-date information in response to election/voting-related questions.
  • Reports to GOTV Program Coordinator

Qualifications + Requirements:

  • Must be a North Carolina resident
  • 18 years or older
  • Pass a background check
  • Must maintain a non-partisan stance on all elections
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Possess project management experience
  • Passionate about engaging volunteers through politics
  • Have a critical eye for inclusion and accessibility
  • Available for (3) months (September through November)
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance
  • Extensive travel require

Compensation

  • $9,500 total for 3 Months (Staggered Monthly Stipend)

GOTV HUB Office Hours:

  • September 1 – October 16
    10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday-Sunday (weekly)
  • October 18 – November 15
    10:00 a.m. to  6:00 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday (weekly)
  • Sundays will be focused on community events
